What the AI QR Wizard Does
The Wizard is a guided three-step flow. In step one, you describe your context: industry vertical (we support 40+), campaign objective (drive traffic, capture leads, boost sales, gather feedback, share information), and target audience. In step two, the Wizard proposes a QR code type, destination content (landing page copy, menu structure, vCard fields, etc.), and three design variants using your brand colors. In step three, you review and accept — or edit individual elements inline. The result is exported as a complete QRMax campaign, live in your dashboard.
The Design Generation Engine
Under the hood, design generation combines our new style transfer model (fine-tuned on 120,000 high-performing QR code designs from our anonymized dataset) with your uploaded brand assets. The model learns your primary/secondary colors, logo shape, and typography preferences, then produces three design options that are both on-brand and optimized for scan rate. Internal testing showed AI-generated designs scored 12% higher in a scan-rate benchmark than manually-designed codes by non-designers.
Content Generation & Accuracy
Content accuracy was our biggest internal concern before launch. For factual content like vCards and WiFi credentials, the Wizard copies your input verbatim — no hallucination risk. For landing page copy and menu descriptions, we use a retrieval-augmented approach that grounds generation in your website content (paste your URL and we scrape publicly visible text). We validated against 500 real-business scenarios: 97.2% of generated copy required zero or minor edits from users in our beta cohort.

Beyond the Wizard, v2.4 includes a redesigned analytics dashboard with cohort retention charts, a new Bulk Create API endpoint that accepts CSV uploads of up to 10,000 rows, support for QR codes with transparent backgrounds (PNG with alpha channel), and a long-requested feature: folder color labels. We also migrated our short-link infrastructure to a new edge network, reducing average redirect latency from 42ms to 11ms globally.
