Generic HMAC-signed HTTP POST

About this integration

The universal integration. Any QRMax event fires an HTTP POST to your endpoint with a JSON payload and HMAC-SHA256 signature. Build integrations with any tool in any language.

How it works

  1. 1Configure one or more endpoint URLs in Dashboard → Settings → Webhooks.
  2. 2Select which events each endpoint subscribes to.
  3. 3QRMax signs every payload with HMAC-SHA256 using your webhook secret.
  4. 4Failed deliveries retry with exponential backoff for 24 hours.

Setup

Create a webhook

Dashboard → Settings → Webhooks → Add endpoint.

Save the signing secret

Copy the auto-generated secret. You'll use this to validate signatures.

Select events

Subscribe to one or many events. You can add more later.

Verify signatures

On every request, validate the X-QRMax-Signature header before trusting the payload.
